BBC TV's Great British Railway Journeys broadcast on January 12 featured two amateur radio related segments

20:30 Marconi's transatlantic signal - Michael Portillo interviews Keith Matthew G0WYS of the Poldhu Amateur Radio Club 
23:55 Goonhilly in Cornwall with Matthew Crosby @MattCosby Chief Scientist Goonhill and Brian Coleman G4NNS. Michael Portillo bounces amateur radio signals off the Moon (EME) by transmitting Morse (CW) and SSB on 5.760 GHz using the 32 metre GHY6 dish antenna.
